Welcome to the Overlay Editor Quick Start Guide
Article Purpose: To learn how to get started with customizing your overlay graphics and tools.
STEP 1: Using a graphic design tool or even something as simple as PowerPoint, create a dynamic background using shapes, colors and more to fit your team's needs and desired look.
STEP 2: Export your image as a ..jpeg or .png, for use within the Overlay Editor tool.
STEP 3: Log into the Studio and select Overlay Editor.
STEP 4: Select your sport and choose from the template selections shown below and then click on the Create button.
STEP 5: Click on the green "ADD IMAGE" icon on the left side the Overlay Editor window.
STEP 6: Browse for the image you exported earlier and add this to your workspace within the Overlay Editor. You may need to resize the image or move it into your desired location. Then use the onboard tools to control how long its visible and under what conditions.
STEP 7: If you have additional images, add them to the workspace in the same way, as shown below.
STEP 8: Use the "ADD DYNAMIC DATA REGION" tool on the left side of Overlay Editor window, to begin adding elements to your design.
STEP 9: Each element has its own unique additional settings and tools that can be used to customize your graphic further, as shown on the image below.
Step 10: Add and adjust elements to fit your background.
STEP 11: Preview how your graphic will look in a variety of circumstances using the "PREVIEW" tool in the upper right hand corner of the Overlay Editor Window.
Step 11: Once you've perfected your graphic you have the options to export it, save it to the cloud or download it to use again in the future using the tools in the Overlay Editor toolbar.
