Shot charts are now viewable for Synergy tagged games within the Synergy Editor. When you select a clip attached to a shot, the shot location will highlight on the shot chart. The shot chart can be displayed by clicking the gray triangle to the right of your edit from the Timeline, Playlist, or Sequencer view.
Shot charts can also be placed on Tagging Templates for adding plot points to practice clips.
To add a shot chart to your template, create a new tagging template, or open an existing template. You can then, while in Edit mode, draw a shot chart on your template by selecting the Draw Shot Chart button, which is next to the Shell button above the tagging template canvas.
Once selected, choose between NBA, College, WNBA/FIBA, or High School. Then, click and drag on the canvas to create the shot chart the size you would like, and position it where you would like.
Once created, while tagging your practice, the chart behaves similar to a label. When recording a shot event, tag your event as you normally would, you can then mark the event location on the shot chart. For example, a 3 point FG shot is missed, you would click the 3 FG Miss tag, then click the event location on the shot chart within your template.
The shot location is now associated with your tag, and will display when that clip is selected. Plot points on the shot chart will appear in red for made field goals, blue for missed, or gray when not attached to shots.
With your both your edit and template open, when you select a clip associated with a shot, the location will highlight on the shot chart attached to the edit, as well as display in the shot chart within your tagging template.
Additionally, when you double click a plot point on the shot chart, the associated clip will play in the video player.
