Game Upload Instructions

High School teams will need to upload a roster template and game video for every game. Here are a few things to note when completing these tasks in Video Express: 

• Synergy cannot log games correctly if home rosters and opponent rosters are not accurate.
• Opponent rosters need to be uploaded for every game.
  
• Home rosters only need to be uploaded once, at the beginning of the season, unless there are roster changes throughout the season. 
• Home rosters and opponent rosters can be added to the same Roster Template (i.e. you only need to complete one roster template for both teams).

Below are step-by-step instructions for uploading roster templates and game videos in Video Express. 

Uploading a Roster Template

After you log in to Video Express, click the Start Upload button.

Then click the Roster button.

Use the filters to find the game you are uploading. Then click on the game and select Upload. 

After you click the Upload button, you will be redirected to a set of Video Express instructions and resources. Read the information and then click Continue. 

You will then be prompted to upload your roster template. Select your file and then click Open. 

You will then be taken to the Upload/Download page, where you can monitor the upload progress. After your roster template is uploaded, start a New Upload for your game video. 

Uploading Game Video

After you have completed the steps for uploading a roster template, click on New Game Upload.

Use the filters to find the game you are uploading. Then click on the game and select Upload. 

After you click the Upload button, you will be redirected to Video Express Reminders and then Video Express Instructions. Read the information on these pages, and then click Continue. 

Note: You can select Do not show this message again in the bottom, left corner.

Next, you will be prompted to upload your video. Select your file and click Open. 

Then you will be asked to provide the final score, jersey colors, and game structure, as well as acknowledge that you have already uploaded a roster template. Then you can click Continue. 

Once your video has completely uploaded, you will have successfully finished your Video Express tasks.
