To customize a report, use the filters located on the left-hand side of the application. Filters are dynamic and update the chart as they are selected. Add a New Report
Select the Plus icon at the bottom right of the screen. This is where you will Add rows to build your own reports.
Synergy Tags and Customer Tags
Choose which filters and tags to apply in your report using either Synergy Tags or Customer Tags.
Synergy Tags allow you to choose which filters/tags you want to add as rows.
Customer Tags list any tags that a user has created for the selected team.
Synergy Expression Builder
To the left of the screen is the Synergy Expression Builder which allows you to customize the report that you want to create. This is done by adding various combinations of tags and Synergy Data to generate the report that you wish to create.
In order to add a tag to the Expression Builder, select Add Selection after selecting the tag from the list.
Tag Filters
In the Synergy Expression Builder, you have the option to view your tags by % of Primary Tags or % of Sub Tags.
Use/Possession
To the right of each tag name, the use percentage and number of possessions will be displayed. This shows the user how frequently each tag type is utilized, and how many possessions there are of that specific tag.
And/Or
Inside of each group with multiple tags, there is the option to select And/Or, and have And/Or in between each group on the Synergy Expression Builder.
And
And is an operator that will return true if all of the components of the equation are true. Therefore, if there are two tags connected by And, the only possessions that will be returned are those with both tags applied to that particular possession. For instance, if you select Fist AND Hawk, you will only see those possessions with BOTH tags applied.
Or
Or is an operator that will return true if any of the components of the equation are true. Therefore, if there are two tags connected by Or, the possessions that will be returned are those with either tag applied to that particular possession. For instance, if you select Fist OR Hawk, you will see all possessions where EITHER tag is applied.
Edit Current Row
To edit a row in a current report using the Report Options menu by selecting Edit the row, select Tags + Data/Game, Duplicate Row, or Delete Row.
Edit Tags & Data
This feature allows you to add more tags and data to a row. When you click the right arrow on the row, click Edit Tags + Data. In this area, you are able to change the name of the row, add a new group, and input additional data. Click Apply to update your row.
Tags & Data / Games
This window shows you additional data attached to each tag, such as how many games each tag occurred during the season and by your filter settings, how many total possessions it has been tagged, and points per possession. As well as view sub-tags under each primary tag.
Viewing Data
Once you have a row of data, the cumulative statistics are available in the Report Panel.
Expanding Player/Play Types
The Default view is to show all of the players and play types in the given tag. However, the Report Panel can expand to separate each option. By clicking on the right arrows under Player and Play Types, the Report Panel will expand to show each category separately, based on the applied tags and filters.

This functionality will compare the Games Filter selection in the left-hand filter panel to the games selected in the Compare dropdown >Select Games window. To use this feature, click Compare then Select Games to begin.
Select Games
When selected, the Games Comparison window will open. Here, select the game(s) you would like to include in the comparison then click Compare.

- Custom: used to select any games you choose to compare in the Games filter selection. (For example, you can select the last 10 in the Games filter and the last 5 in the Comparison filter to see the difference between those, or select only the games where you know a player did not play.)
Additionally, filter between Home|Away, Win|Loss, Conference|Non-Conference.
Note: The comparison list will display the number of games selected for each row.
Video and Rank
Video
Choosing the Video option allows you to send clips directly to the Editor when selecting statistics associated with the video (indicated by a blue number).
When a clip set is selected, the Synergy Editor Parameters window will become active. Here, set the video quality you would like to send, limit the number of clips, and title the playlist.
Rank
Choosing the Rank option allows you to click on any number and bring up a Leaderboards page, similar to the Synergy Team Site Leaderboards page. It will either display Player Leaderboard or Team Leaderboard based on the filters selected in the reports. You'll notice that some columns, like PPP, become clickable after you select Rank so that you can bring up a leaderboard focused on any report statistic.
To save the Leaderboards page as a PDF, use the Save to PDF link. If you do make a change to the filters please make sure and hit Update below the Season dropdown to update your page.
Lineups
Access Lineups from the Play Call/Lineup Analysis menu in the upper right
From the Report Builder dropdown menu, select Lineups.
All lineups will be displayed in order of most possessions. By default, only those lineups with a minimum of 25 possessions will show. To edit or change this minimum, enter a new value into the Min Poss. box.
Use any of the column headers to sort the data. For example, to see which lineup has the best or worst PPP, select the column header and it will sort the data grid by PPP. Select the same header again to sort the column in the opposite order.
Expand by Player or Play Type within each lineup to see that player's potential performance within the lineup or how the lineup performs on select Play Types.
Note: To see lineups containing certain players, select those players in the Offensive Lineup filter. The Players filter and column are for the players who complete the possession (Shot, Turnover, or Foul).
