Goalkeepers are initially set when starting a match. After the match begins, scouts will need to capture the three primary actions of goalkeepers that can occur throughout the game:
- Setting an Active Goalkeeper
- Goalkeeper Substitution
- Open Net
Managing Goalkeepers
Goalkeepers are managed using the Goalkeeper Management Modals, which are located above the event buttons on both sides of the Stats App.
During a match, you can set an active goalkeeper or substitute a goalkeeper by clicking on the number of the goalkeeper entering the match. Once selected, the active goalkeeper is highlighted in the goalkeeper modal and the action log will record a "Goalkeeper Change."
Note: There is no need to deselect players when they exit.
Open Net
An empty net situation occurs when a player entering the match for a goalkeeper is a 7th field player. When this occurs, you need to select Open Net on the goalkeeper modal.
Note: There is no need to deselect players when they exit the field. The Empty Net button is highlighted until the goalkeeper returns to the match.
