Minimum Requirements
Synergy requires the following minimum specifications to run MAX Editor 9 and Source Manager 6 including advanced capture and editing workflows.
Mac
- macOS Mojave 10.14.6 or later
- Intel quad-core i5 processor or greater
- At least 2.3GHz before Turbo Boost
- 8 GB RAM or greater
- 512 GB or greater hard disk storage
- Discrete graphics card
Windows
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Intel quad-core i5 processor or greater
- At least 2.3GHz before Turbo Boost
- 8 GB RAM or greater
- 512 GB or greater hard disk storage
- Discrete graphics card
Note: Multi-core i3 devices that meet the requirements above will support basic playlist viewing and sharing but might experience performance downgrades with advanced capture and editing workflow.

Recommended Requirements
Synergy recommends the following specifications for running Editor 9 and Source Manager 6 with local capture and advanced editing workflows. If you are purchasing a new computer:
- Mac - a quad-core processor and a discrete graphics card are essential.
- Windows - a multi-core processor is essential.
- For Windows and Mac - Increased RAM, at or greater than the recommended configuration below, and sufficient hard disk space or video backup storage, are the next most important options to consider for capture and editing workflows.
