Wireless Streaming Your Synergy Camera in the Editor Max

Overview

Using Sportshub, you can now wirelessly stream your scheduled SACS recordings directly into the Synergy Editor Max from anywhere in the world. Whether courtside or in your office, this simple process allows for easy live capture for you to tag your games and practices in real time.

Getting Started

To get started, click the Camera tab above the upper right panel, next to the Videos tab. Then click the red Connect Account button. This will take you to the Keemotion page.

Enter your SACS credentials to log in.

Note: If you wish to change the SACS account you are using, select the Reconnect Camera option from the File menu.

You will be asked to share your data with Synergy Client App. Confirm your connection by clicking Accept.

Once you are connected, Division I users will see their own scheduled games and practices, as well as games from other Division I Teams. All other Max users will see only their own events.

The MyArena Schedule/Edit button in the upper right corner, connects you to the Keemotion site scheduling page.

Note: Newly scheduled events will be seen in the Editor following a refresh of the application.

Once events are scheduled for recording by Keemotion, they must be scheduled for ingestion by Synergy to make them compatible for adding to your Edits. To request an ingestion, simply right click on the event, and select Schedule Ingestion.

If the event occurred in the past, the ingestion will begin immediately.

To request an automatic ingestion for a future event, use the toggle above your list of events to select Upcoming/Live, and then right click on the event, and select Schedule Ingestion. This will begin the ingestion automatically once the recording has begun.

These video assets may be attached to Edits just as a video from the Videos panel would. To create a new edit with your recording, select the recording and click the + icon in the upper right, or right click on the recording and select Create Edit.

A dialog box will appear, allowing you to choose between creating a Timeline or Custom Edit, Name your edit, and select which Panel you would like to open it in. Once you have made your selections click OK.

Note: It can take up to two minutes from when the encoding is requested, or when an event starts, until it is available in an Edit. Once the encoding is complete, it will look just like a regular Timeline, and will start caching the video.
