The In-Bowser Player allows you to watch videos and create custom edits without leaving the web. It has been verified to work in all recent versions of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Opening the In-Browser Player

You will see the option to open the in-browser player if you click on any video link in Team Site.

Note: Any stat that is blue in Team Site will link to video.

After you click on a video link, make sure the Playback filter is set to In-Browser Player. Then select OK.

The In-Browser Player will open with the clips you selected from Team Site at the bottom. Your Custom Edits and Source Edits will be on the right.

Note: Full Game Video loads all of the clips into the playlist but shows the video for the entire game as opposed to just clipped video.

Playback Options

Once the In-Browser Player is open, your video clips will start playing automatically. If you don't want to watch all of the clips in your playlist, you can select the clips you do want to watch and then click the play icon.

Use the controls directly under the video to adjust the video playback. Here you will find controls for video speed, video replay, video skipping, volume control, full-screen mode, etc.

Settings

To update settings for the In-Browser Player, click on the gear icon on the left. Here, you can change the Playback format or click Options to see more settings.

If you select Options, you will see additional settings for Hotkeys, Navigation, and General.

The Hotkeys tab shows a list of keyboard shortcuts for the In-Browser Player. You can update these shortcuts by clicking on a hotkey and replacing it.

The Navigation tab will allow you to update the jump buttons. Select a button from the list to update time increments and change the measurement from "Seconds" to "Frames."

The General tab will allow you to update Text Overlay and Playback Quality settings. ]

Manage Custom Edits & Source Edits

On the right side of the In-Browser Player, there are tabs for your Custom Edits and Source Edits. In the top-right corner are the control buttons for these edits.

Play or View Edits

To play or view an edit, you will first need to select an edit. The edit row will be highlighted if you have selected an edit.

Note: Marking the check box for an edit will not allow you to view or play that edit.

After you select an edit, then you can click on the play icon or the view icon. The clips from your edit will then be visible in the playlist at the bottom.

Create New Edits

Use the + icon to create a new Edit.  After you click the + icon, you will have to name your edit and click Save before it shows in your edit list.

Add Clips to Custom Edits

To add a clip to a Custom Edit, you must first have the clip playing in the video player. Once the clip is playing (or paused), select the Custom Edit you want the clip added to. Click on the Custom Edit a second time to add your clip.

Note: To add a clip to a custom edit, the video MUST be playing on the video player. You cannot multi-select clips with checkmarks to move them to Custom Edits.

You can also press the Hotkey number assigned to the Custom Edit (if there is one) to add a clip from the video player.

Share Custom Edits

To share Custom Edits, you will first need to select your edits and then click the share icon.

After you click the share icon, you will select whether you would like to send these edits through Synergy or through your personal email.

Note: You can only send clips through Synergy if the recipient has a Synergy account.
