Article Overview: The stream configuration page enables you to edit the streaming parameters of streams for a given competition in a specific arena. Parameters that can be edited are the destination, bitrate, audio controls and overlay. More details on each parameter are provided below within this page.
Step-by-Step Guide
How to Access the Stream Configuration Page
1.) Once you are logged in you will see an icon on the left side of the Sportshub page. Please click on the "Arenas" icon as shown in the image below.
2.) Select an arena from the available arenas listed on the left side of the Sportshub page.
3.) Click on the pencil icon located to the right of the name of the stream listed in the "Streams" section.
4.) Now your Stream configurations form will be shown as seen in the image below.
Overview of the available Stream configuration options
External Streaming Destination
On the top you will see all the streams that are configured in the arena for the competition.

Note: Stream can be disabled like the "Third stream" as shown in the image above
If the "No external streaming" option is selected, it means there is no live stream that is being sent to a platform like YouTube, Facebook or Twitch.

If the "RTMP / STR configuration" is selected as shown below, you will be able to type in the field a remote server address. An example address would be rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/abcdef.
The next time you schedule a game in this competition type, the live stream of that game will be sent to this address. Examples of where this can be sent to are platforms like YouTube and Twitch.

Note: You can also leave the "RTMP or SRT configuration (remote server)" field empty and set it up on the Streaming page for the recording. Please view the following link to learn "How to Change the Stream Destination for a Recording".
Live video in Synergy applications
The "Disabled" option should only be used if the Internet bandwidth in your arena is not high enough to stream for platforms like YouTube, Facebook and the Keemotion iOS App, at the same time.

Note: See this article for more details. Can I Have My Game Live Streamed on a Platform Like YouTube and Displayed on the iOS App at the Same Time?
Bitrate
The bitrate parameters influence how sharp your steam will be. The higher the bitrate the sharper the stream. The recommended bitrate will depend on the framrate and resolution of your stream. For a 1080p 25fps/30fps stream we recommend 4 - 5Mbps. For a 1080p 50fps/60fps stream we recommend up to 6 - 8Mbps.
Note: The higher the bitrate, the more bandwidth you need to stream from the venue (i.e. more bits per second of video). Please note that by default (unless you disable the Live video in the Synergy applications option) you need 2x the selected bitrate per stream (once for the RTMP stream and once for the stream to the Synergy application).
Please note that if you select, for example, 2500 Kb/s, your bandwidth must be able to support 2 streams of 2500 Kb/s, which means a total of 5000 Kb/s.
Friendly Reminder: Please note that at this time, the bitrate applies to all of your streams like (YouTube/Facebook/Twitch + Synergy applications).
Audio Control
The audio control slider allows you to update the audio level (i.e. the volume) for each audio source that has been configured for this competition in this arena.
AUDIOSOURCE1 - is the ambiance sound.
AUDIOSOURCE2 - is the commentator audio. If it is not available, it means that you are not using a commentator mixer in your arena.
Production Overlay
The Production overlay allows you to set/remove an overlay to your stream.
For more info about overlays please read the following article: Implementing an Overlay for your Stream.
