Synergy Stats 1.32.0 - Release Notes (October 2, 2024)

Synergy Stats 13.2.0 is released today with a continuation of the editing from the main screen work - giving the users a chance to edit the event clock time in the action log. 

Event clock time (timestamp) editing

When clicking on the event timestamp in the action log, the user will have an additional window displaying the timestamp's minutes and seconds that can be adjusted by the up and down arrows next to them. 

Once the timestamp adjustment is completed, clicking anywhere on the screen will close the window. The event is then moved up or down the action list to be in line with the rest of the action chronologically and not to mess up the play-by-play order. 

Enhancements:

• Technical fouls assigned to a player,coach or bench when the team in possession, does not evoke turnover automatically as per FIBA Stats Rules changes (September 1st, 2024).

• Deleting the last action for a quarter was removing the ''Insert After" icon and preventing the user  from adding a missing event as the last one in a period. This is now fixed and the user can always insert after the last action added in a period.

• When inserting via "Insert Before'" a substitution action(s) in a finished quarter/in a previous moment Synergy Stats displays the lineup that is on the court in the moment of the insertion and not the one that was lastly/currently on the court (in the current state or at the end of the game). 

• The user should not have to select the Head Coach/Coach role in team setup if left blank in Team Staff tab on the Team Setup screen, and can proceed with the game setup and stats collecting. 

BUGS FIXED:

• Assign to Team button unresponsive when editing jersey number assigned to an event is fixed and now the user can modify events by changing player to team as for owner of the event in the action log and play-by-play.

• Editing starters after initially inserted was removing the team colors from their players tile on the main screen. The user should reload the browser to make the colors appear. Synergy Stats now behaves as expected in the cases where starters are edited. 

• Moving events up/down the action log
• 'Add Assist' button on some scenarios - foul on the shot in the Free Throw modal
• Add 'Cancel' button on the tipoff jump ball window
• Display 'fast break' actions in the action log and play-by-play
• New shot types per FIBA rules - eurostep, reverse layup, alley-oop layup
