In this article, we will explore the Sync view in the Synergy Baseball Team Logger.

Sync view is the bridge between imported video and your logged events, where you can match the two together to create a complete picture.

To get started, click on the Sync button in the View Menu in the upper right. In the Camera Angle Configuration panel set the configuration for each uploaded angle. Choose the placement by selecting Left or Right for each angle.

Start synching by clicking Create New Sync Point. Change the sync point by clicking Modify Sync Point or remove it by clicking Remove Sync Point.

To scroll back and forth between sync points use Previous Sync Point and Next Sync Point. There are some basic controls located below the playback window. Available options include:

  • Video Navigation: Use the slider to scroll forwards or backward.
  • Volume: Use to jump ahead or back in the specific increments of time
  • Play/Pause

To choose which camera angle and/or video you'd like to display, choose from the options to the right of the display panel.

Below the video panel is the timeline for each angle. The timeline includes a rectangular bar that represents how long each video file is for the respective angle. Click and hold each bar to move the video back and forth to sync up the appropriate moments in the timeline.

To undo, or redo, the last change that you made, click the Undo or Redo buttons located at the bottom of the screen.

When the video is ready to be saved, click Apply.

When in the Event Sync view you have the option of viewing a playlist that will show a list of individual pitches. This playlist is located to the right of the video display and includes an option to view by a chronological list or by individual pitch. In addition to pitch and pitcher information, the individual pitch option showcases pitch location as well. Click on either option to access your preferred view.
