Global sports have different broadcasting traditions and we believe your overlays should naturally reflect them. We’ve updated our default score bug to automatically adapt whether the Home or Guest team is displayed on the left, depending on the sport being played.
Previously, our default score bug always positioned the Home team on the left. While this is the standard for many international sports, viewers of US-based sports traditionally expect the Guest team to be shown first.
With this update, the layout is completely dynamic based on the sport's rule type:
- US Sports (e.g., NBA rules): The Guest team will now automatically appear on the left side of the score bug.
- International Sports (e.g., FIBA rules): The Home team will remain on the left.
Note: This update only applies to the default overlay (the one included in the picture above) and not to any custom overlays that are user defined.
