Team Site for Basketball: Getting Started

Welcome to Team Site! We are pleased to bring you a wide variety of features, functions, and tools to help guide your work with games, players, and teams. Explore the information below to get started with Team Site!

Logging In

Navigate to Team Site using the following URL: https://apps.synergysports.com/basketball. When prompted, enter your Synergy login credentials.

Check the Remember Me box before logging in to minimize the need to enter your credentials every time you visit the site. Additionally, If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password? link to reset your password. Follow the reset prompts and instructions to complete the process and return to the website to log in.

Homepage

When you first log in, you are redirected to the Games page. From here, you can access all of the tabs, filters, and navigation tools in Team Site.

Main Menu

The Main Menu includes a Universal Search bar and links to several other resources for Team Site.

Universal Search

Use the Universal Search to find Teams and Players quickly. A minimum of three characters are required to yield any search results. The top 10 results for Teams and Players will display on the search. Select a Team or Player to navigate to that team or player page. Selecting Load More Teams or Load More Players will open a separate search results page with up to 500 results that match.

Note: Teams will only show the latest season. Users can then select previous seasons on the Team page. Typing a ‘/’ will open the search box regardless of where you are on the page.

Filters and Search Within Results:

Search within the results to refine your search further
Filter by League and Season
Selecting any Player or Team will launch the selected Player or Team's Page.

Other Tools

View Unread Release Updates: Click to read about new updates to the NEW Team Site when a red notification dot is present.

Training: Click here to schedule personalized training session or find video guides for Team Site or any other Synergy product.

Print: Click to print the entire screen you are viewing, or select different sections to be printed

User Profile: Click to access the User menu with a variety of helpful tools.

Locate the User Menu by selecting the User Profile in the upper right corner. From here, users have access to several options:

Settings

In Settings, you have the option to adjust your Default Filters. These filters will be applied every time you open a game, team, or player list. When editing or adding a filter, ensure you save your selections by clicking the Save Changes button when you're finished.

You can add multiple filters to the Default Filter list, and these filters will also appear on the Quick Filters menu. Easily switch between saved filters by clicking on them.

Team B *This filter only applies to the Game view.
Type *This filter only applies to the Game and Team views.
Offensive Role *This filter only applies to the Player view.

Video Default Settings

These settings affect the properties of all video clips selected on any statistic or playlist on the Team Site.

Video Playback Option:
- Send Video Straight to Default: This will apply the selected default video settings you've chosen from the Settings page.
- Ask Video Preference Every Time: This will open a pop-up asking you to choose where and how you'd like the video to be sent.
Playback:
- In Browser Player: This will play all videos using the Synergy In-Browser Player.
- Editor: This will send the selected video to your Synergy Editor for trimming, tagging, and creating custom edits.
Max Clips: Set the maximum number of clips that can be sent at one time
Clips Order: Choose to see the most recent clips first, the oldest clips first, or a random order of clips.
Video Quality (if applicable): Select standard or high quality.

Stats Defaults

Aggregated statistics can be displayed as total possessions or as an average of possessions per game played.

Favorites

View and manage your favorite teams and players. These will be used when selecting the 'Favorite Teams' or 'Favorite Players' filters on the game, team or player list.
