Video Express for Softball: Starting a Video Upload

In this article, we will discuss how to start a video upload in Video Express for Softball. 

To upload your game to Synergy, select Start Upload from the Quick Start page or select New Upload from the Transfer Status page. This will take you to the Video Express Upload page, where you will see two options:

1. Pitch Chart Upload
2. Video Upload

Video Upload

Video Upload initiates the process for uploading game video to Synergy.

Once a new upload is initiated, you will select the game you would like to upload video for using the dropdown menus in the upper right.

• Year
• League
• Team

After making your selection, click to highlight the game you would like to upload your film to. 

The last three columns on the table will indicate the status of any game uploads:

• Upload Complete Data File
  • Displays a green check mark if Pitch Charts have been uploaded for this game
• Upload Complete CF 
  • Displays a green check mark if "Broadcast" and "CF Camera Angles" have been uploaded for this game
• Upload Complete Home Plate
  • Displays a green check mark if"Low Home and "High Home" Camera Angles have been uploaded for this game. 
  • *Note: additional Camera Angles can be selected during the upload process.  These include: "LHP Open," "RHH Open," "RHP Open," "LHH Open," etc.

After the game is selected, continue by clicking the Upload button in the lower right to proceed to the Video Express Quality Selector/ Comments page. 

*Note: If you click Upload for a game that does not have Pitch Charts uploaded, you will receive a warning message, as seen below. You can choose to Upload Pitch Charts later, but it is recommended that Pitch Charts be uploaded prior to the video upload to enable a smoother, quicker, and accurate logging process.
