In this article, we will discuss how to upload Pitch Charts into Video Express for Softball.
To upload your Pitch Chart to Synergy, select Start Upload from the Quick Start page or select New Upload from the Transfer Status page. This will take you to the Video Express Upload page, where you will see two options:
- Pitch Chart Upload
- Video Upload
*Note: It is important that the Pitch Charts be uploaded first, prior to beginning your video upload. Having this documentation in place prior to the video upload enables a smoother, quicker, and accurate logging process
Pitch Chart Upload
Uploading the supporting documentation for game film is vital to accurate logging and the overall value of all of the Synergy Baseball products.
Pitch Chart Upload initiates the process for uploading game video to Synergy.
Once a new upload is initiated, you will select the game you would like to upload to using the dropdown menus in the upper right.
- Year
- League
- Team
After making your selection, click to highlight the game you would like to upload your files to and select Upload from the lower right. The Upload Complete Data File column will display a green check mark if a Pitch Chart has been uploaded to a game.
You will see the Video Express Upload Instruction page. Feel free to select the Do not show this message again box to skip this page on subsequent uploads. Select Continue from the lower right to proceed with your upload.
Next, you will browse to the location of the file you wish to upload. Select the file, click OK and continue to the Transfer Status page to monitor the progress of your upload.
- Accepted file types for Pitch Charts are:
- HTML, PDF, CSV, XLSX, PNG, JPEG, JSON, XML
