In this article we will discuss the types of reports that you can use in Reports View in the Synergy Sports Baseball Application.

Basic Statistics Report

This is the default report for this view. It is a display of six data tables featuring the most commonly used baseball statistics.

The data tables displayed in this view match what is displayed in the Multigame data tables which appear under the pitch and spray charts in that view. Both views provide:

· Basic statistics

· Pitch Type

· Pitch Result

· BIP Type

· BIP Result

· Non-BIP Result

Note: AVG, OBP, SLG, and OPS percentages in the Basic Statistics reports will not play video when selected. These percentages are to provide stats based on Synergy’s data. To view these, use the Chart Filters in the Multigame view. For more information on how to do this, check out the Baseball Application: Chart Filters article.

Left/Right Splits Report

This report details the number of pitches thrown or seen in different at-bat pitch counts broken down even further by hitter/pitcher handedness.

This report can be viewed by using the Grouped Counts tab or the All Counts tab in the upper left of the report.

Percentages are calculated by dividing the number in a row by the number in the Overall row in the same column.

By clicking the carrot icon to the left side of the row name, you can expand the report to see a breakdown of pitch types in each specific situation.

Percentages are calculated by dividing the number in a pitch type row by the number in the hitter/pitcher handedness row in the same column (RHP in the example below).

You can further expand the report by clicking on the individual pitch types. This will provide a breakdown of the pitch results for each pitch type.

Percentages are calculated by dividing the number in a pitch result row by the number in the pitch type row in the same column.

Matchups Report (Counts)

Below that will be the filtered player's data against individual hitters/pitchers. Expand a row by clicking the carrot icon to the left of the row name to view the pitch types thrown/seen in various counts.

Note: The percentages displayed represent that column's pitch total divided by the pitch total in the All column.
